Shotton Parmed – Mobile Patient Hoist

The Mobile Patient Hoist 255 is a powerful patient lifter designed for high-complexity transfers in acute and critical care environments, including hospitals and care facilities. It is also available with optional Ambulating Arms, making it an ideal solution for gait training and rehabilitation support.

With an impressive lifting range of 370–1790 mm, the Hoist 255 enables safe lifting from the floor as well as transfers to and from high beds. Its linear lifting pattern and fixed suspension provide exceptional stability, while the vertical hoisting motion keeps the user at a consistent distance from the column for a secure and controlled transfer.

Despite its high performance, the Hoist 255 is one of the lightest lifters in its class at just 42.5 kg, and its excellent wheel geometry ensures smooth manoeuvrability. For added comfort, it is compatible with the Molift 4-Point Sling Bar (sold separately), offering a spacious and supportive lifting position.

Built with safety in mind, it includes an overload sensor, hinged lifting arm, emergency stop, and electrical emergency lowering function. The Hoist 255 is powered by environmentally friendly NiMH batteries for reliable everyday use.
